Why Book Early? Three important reasons:

1. Our tours are limited to only 21 participants and we have had to turn down people wishing to join us in the past due to being sold out

2. A limited number of hotel rooms in Cuba are held and must be released several weeks prior to departure if they are not confirmed. Trying to re-book them on short notice is sometimes, (but not always), impossible as many of the hotels we use are small and have a limited number of rooms.

3. Air flights can sell out so there may not be a convenient and reasonably priced way to get to Cuba.

Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The tour deposit is $250 CAD and an additional payment for the air fare will be required. The air deposit depends on what airline is confirmed and their payment rules. Cuba Discovery Tours will give you more details regarding this on an individual basis.

Forms of Payment: Cash, cheque, debit, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. If you are making the final payment by credit card there is an additional 3% processing fee applied to the tour-only portion of the package. There is no processing fee added to deposits made by credit card.

Travel Insurance: Cancellation and medical insurance is strongly recommended and will be discussed at time of booking. Premiums differ according to your age and the length and cost of your vacation.

Cancellation: Should you have to cancel it is imperative that we be advised in writing immediately. The following charges apply from the date we are advised of your cancellation in writing:

Air fare penalties may differ and penalties are imposed according to the airline rules.

Itinerary Variations: All services described are based upon information provided to us in good faith by suppliers. If unforeseen conditions beyond our control necessitate changes, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and substitute the best alternatives available either prior to departure or thereafter according to local circumstances.

Cuba Discovery Tours/McPhail Travel (a division of 3426760 Manitoba Ltd.) makes arrangements with hotels, transportation services and other independent parties, beyond its direct control, to provide you with the travel services offered. We cannot be responsible for the acts or omissions of these parties or anyone other than Cuba Discovery Tours own employees. Also, we will not be liable for any loss or damage, injury or death that occurs as a result of government actions, acts of God, late arrivals, missed connections, or other factors beyond our direct control.
