At Cuba Discovery Tours we go beyond the traditional beach vacation and facilitate interactive opportunities with Cubans. These arranged visits include various places of employment, education and sometimes Cubans in their homes. When tour participants are asked what was their favourite aspect of the tour it is often these exchanges. All of the tours are balanced with Cuba's many "must see" tourist attractions and places of interest. Down time at a quiet beach location, a sense of camaraderie, and a relaxed pace complete the perfect recipe for a memorable vacation. Our success is attested to by our many repeat clients.

Historical Central Cuba

15 Days - Jan 27 - Feb 10, 2013

History buffs will enjoy Central Cuba which features colonial and revolutionary history. This area was the hub of wealth and commerce during colonial times which is evident during our stays in Trinidad, Cienfuegos and Havana. We'll take trek in the mountains, enjoy traditional roast pig dinner, visit an organic farm, an arts school, and be entertained by talented musicians and actors. Visit the tomb of Che Guevara, a cigar factory, take percussion lessons, learn to salsa….and much more.

Western Cuba Discovery Tour

15 Days - Feb 10 – 24, 2013

Nature is more the focus of this tour with stays in a mountainous biosphere reserve, the tobacco growing region of Viñales with its unique mogotes landscape, and a remote beach at the very Western tip of the island. We take a ride on the electric Hershey Train, and complete your experience with three full days in Havana. Meet farmers, artists, naturalists, and ordinary people doing extraordinary things for their communities.

Eastern Cuba Tour

15 Days - Feb 18 – Mar 4, 2013

Because tourism hasn't overwhelmed this region you can still enjoy a Cuba Libre in a traditional nightclub where the locals outnumber the tourists. We visit a ranch, Cuba's only rainforest area, a school of music, the sites of famous battles, and stay on an island where exotic animals were imported for hunting.
